After the tour of the Technology Park in the company of its manager Iztok Lesjak the high guests had a meeting with the selected members of the Technology Park in the hall of the administrative building. Barroso and Janša addressed the gathered representatives of the companies, members of the Technology Park Ljubljana, and stressed the importance of innovative business for achieving the goals of the EU and Slovenia.

The speech was followed by talks with the representatives of the selected 10 companies among which were also Marko Šobota, general manager of Gama System d.o.o., and Matevž Gačnik, application development manager. The talks with the President of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Janez Janša, mostly focused on the successfully completed project of establishing a system for transmitting and archiving video contents for the European Union Presidency and the press conferences from the Cabinet of the President of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia over internet and mobile networks (http://www.eu2008.si in http://www.kpv.gov.si).
